Cooking Caregiver

Cooking Caregiver is a(n imaginary) video game about cooking (DIY) hormone replacement therapy. The game’s title is play on the video game franchise Cooking Mama, and the gameplay is implied to parody its genre.

Unlike the “game,” the OST is real; it was written for the OST Composing Jam #6. The theme was “Tick Tock…” and Cooking Caregiver doubly fits the theme by not only tackling the timer-infested task of cooking — but also by acting as a lighthearted & allegorical perspective on how trans people will go to great lengths to avoid waiting their whole lives for gender-affirming care.

Trans rights are human rights.

The .zip download includes six tracks in both .mp3 and .FLAC format, as well as lyrics (.txt), liner notes (.pdf), screenshot proof of originality (.jpg), and an album cover (.jpg). Equivalent information can be found just as easily on the soundtrack's bandcamp page.
