Musical Thrones

Ruler Tempo in all their musical majesty challenges the player to a game of musical chairs. The player must traverse the royal throne room before the music ends to claim the title of gender-neutral sovereign over the land of Melody. However, the anthem isn’t long enough, so the player must complete time-sensitive “quick-time” events with their keyboard to repeat sections of the song.

All design, code, art, music, writing, and sound was made within 48 hours for the Ludum Dare 50.
